Drug Category: Antibiotic/corticosteroid.
Contents: Eye/Ear Drops: Gentamycin (as sulphate) 0.3%, hydrocortisone acetate 1 %.
Indications: Eye: Topical bacterial infections caused by sensitive organisms associated with inflammatory and/or allergic conditions of the eye. Ear: Otitis externa, chronic suppurative otitis media.
Dosage: Eye: Adults & Children: 1-2 drops four hourly. Ear: Adults & Children: 2-4 drops three or four times daily and at night.
Precautions: Pregnancy. Avoid prolonged use in infants. Perforated ear drum.
Adverse effects: Super infection,
