Drug Category: Non-steroidal respiratory anti-inflammatory.
Generic Name: Ketotifen.
Contents: Syp: Per ml: Ketotifen 0.2mg.Tabs: Ketotifen 1mg.
Indications: Prophylaxis of bronchial asthma.
Dosage: Adults: 1-2mg twice daily with food. Children: Under 2 years, not recommended; over 2
years, 1mg twice daily with food.
Interactions: Alcohol, CNS depressants, oral hypoglycaemics.
Adverse effects: Drowsiness, impaired reactions,
dry mouth, dizziness.
